        • What is it?: Indíana Jónsdóttir, a middle-aged single mom, lives in a council estate in the suburbs of Reykjavik. She is surrounded by immigrants, who she despises, and makes her living preying on the state's welfare system with numerous made-up illnesses. In her small private garden she tends to her award winning Laburnum tree, her pride and joy. When a representative from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources pays a visit to inform her that the state is enforcing a new legislation that decrees that all types of vegetational that were not growing in Icelandic soil before the year 1900 shall be uprooted and discarded, Indiana's world is upended.
