  • In old age Faust discovers that happiness is not only pursued through reading books. Mephistopheles tempts him and says he can introduce him to real happiness in the sweet life of joy and pleasure. Faust takes his offer but if he finds happiness with Mephistopheles help the Devil takes his sould. The bet is challening when Faust meets the pure and innocent Greta which gets drawn into the eternal battle of good and evil.
