  • Excerpts from reviews:

"The constant threat is prevailing, and is very well demonstrated in the detailed actions of the couple. The effect of this threat is very strong as the set is a small cube where the actors need to interact and the audience is under the constant impression that Lúkas will explode. The whole performance is very strong and I give it a full house." -Lísa Pálsdóttir, RÚV - The National Broadcasting service-

        • What is it?: Lúkas is a frequent diner at Sólveig and Ágúst´s home. Their life seems to revolve around these visits. They adore Lúkas and make every effort to impress him but Lukas is fickle and plays them as a cat with a mouse. Therefore the couple lives in a constant fear of punishment. Lúkas was first premiered in 1975 and immediately attracted attention. The need to dominate another person seems to be an appendage of the human existence. Extortion and co-dependence have various manifestations whether it is in a private relationship between couples or an extortion and co-dependancy of an entire nation.
