  • The play gets its inspiration from the life and writings of Steinar Sigurjónsson (1928-1992), an efficient writer, a misfit and  “enfant terrible” at the Icelandic art scene in the post-war period. The language of the play is very rough, still poetic, original and innovating. Music plays a vital part in it and the form of the play is that of the sonata.
