What is it?: Hotel Volkswagen is an absurd play by the Icelandic stand-up comedian and the mayor of Reykjavík, Jón Gnarr. Siggi is a ten year old boy but yet a woman in her thirties, Svenni the receptionist is an optimistic nihilist, Paul is an English gentleman but yet a woman with no ovaries and Ludwig Herman Finkelstein is a chummy, nostalgic Nazi. We accompnay the pitiful guests of Hotel Volkswagen where everything can happen and everybody has a dubious past – even little Siggi.
